The Last of Us, that was a great game, I still have it, but it's basically a one shot, no replay value.

I can't play any video game for more than 2 hours. After that I get bored. The two hours are fun, but after that I get restless. Doesn't matter the graphics, how big the world is etc. The novelty wears off very quickly for me.

You shouldn't play games longer than that at a sitting. Get up, take a break, etc.heydaralon wrote: ↑Tue Dec 17, 2019 4:55 amI can't play any video game for more than 2 hours. After that I get bored. Realistically it should be every 30 to 45 min.
The fact you see ”gamers” do marathon gaming of 8 to 24 stinits, that's not the norm.

Too many games are like that today. Which is a major complaint to most gamers.

Well if you're waiting for that you might as well skip the 4 and get the 5. Like the last one it's going to straddle the generations.pineapplemike wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 10:48 pm@clubber i have a gaming PC but i haven't been playing games much on it, my GTX 970 isn't getting any younger even if it still holds up pretty well. played the shit out of battlefield and grand theft auto on it, might have to get that new halo game though. always wanted a ps4 in the meantime, been waiting for the last of us 2 for five fuckin years

Save it for a trade-in when 5 comes out. I'm doing that for the Xbox.pineapplemike wrote: ↑Tue Dec 17, 2019 7:52 amtoo late, $200 on black friday for the console and god of war, plus two other games i won't play (one being the last of us), i'm in. bought a big ass 55" TV to boot. i considered waiting for PS5 but i distinctly remember saying "fuck it" and bought the PS4

I paid $50 (Canadian) for the PS3 I'm using, bought it off a guy at my wife's office.
It's a first generation PS3, the big clunky one.

There were two versions of the PS3. The first is a slim. The second is a thick one about 25 to 30% thicker. It had a hardwareemulation system in it to play the older games.
If you have that, it's worth $$$ even today.
