7% of the U.S. are millionaires and most of those are multi-millionaires. These are the people who complain about Trade Wars. The other 93% don’t give a rat’s ass.

And The 1%, holy Jesus Christ, fuck what they want.

And you're shooting yourselves in the foot, for what again? 2% of steel imports into the US?

Stoopid.

Steel tarrifs are as old as wall street fren. Do you know what the ticker symbol is for USS?

2% is nothing so I don't see the issue with your 401k shtf scenario
US Steel's ticker symbol is "X".

It's been responding funny to the tariffs - had a little pop, and now fading with the market. I'd wait a month or two before taking a shot.

The fuck?

On technicals, it is about to either bounce off that sr line or plunge, my guess being a bounce, but you should wait.

Like.. soon.

This is jeopardizing our plans to shift a good chunk of our manufacturing to the US.

If I import a complete product to the US, no tariffs.

If I build it in the US, I feel the steel tariff because my contract mfg does.

I was about to pull the trigger and make the switch, now I need to think about it a great deal more.

The whole economy is being put 'on hold' for the next few months, while this game plays out. At the worst possible time. Nobody is going to expand their business, without knowing wtf is happening a few months from now.

Trump has effectively put a lid on GDP for the rest of 2018.

Like I said before; if virtually all the increase in GDP goes to The 1%, who the fuck cares.

Not me. But it does make it challenging to find work.

Pull up US Steel on Stockcharts.com. Add bollinger bands and look at what is happening. It might already be breaking out today.

The 1% are NOT the magical “job providers”! Any mutterfukker here want to claim otherwise? (Google where new jobs come from first.)

It’s possible, but I hope your wrong.

I will say that companies that were flush with cash and ready to spend a lot of money just a month ago are pulling back a bit now.

Nothing major yet, but I’m not getting a good feeling.

We shifted into growth mode and this is putting a monkey wrench in it.
