Jesus man, couldn’t you find a respectable line of work... like washing dishes at the back of a greasy spoon diner for 30 years?Smitty-48 wrote:How am I divorced by the common man again? Minimum Wage just went up to $11.50 in Washington State. The price of milk is $2.68 a Gallon.

Tell you what, I have the respect of my peers, all me mates from the army are doing the same thing I am. Everyday we're hustling, so we don't have to answer to the man. Serve 22 years in the army, and you'd probably have had enough of clicking you heels together at the chop as well.

Sure, a couple decades of service to your country followed by pursuing ways to be your own boss is alright.
But it’s not road crew work.

Googling around and seeing the other American posts here, that does seem to be a common American opinion.DBTrek wrote:Jedi’s own post answers his question.BjornP wrote:jediuser598 wrote:
As for Okee's posts to you being negative. I'd say blocking someone is a response to nonsense, but I assumed you read his posts since you wrote:
What respect do we owe the “common man”?
Basic human respect.
That’s all.
In every other way the common man is “common”, no respect earned.

Now, I did get an inheritance, but it's not like I squandered it on hookers and blow, I invested it, mostly in property, resulting in revenue streams which I add to the mix.DBTrek wrote:Sure, a couple decades of service to your country followed by pursuing ways to be your own boss is alright.

You could have sold the blow and pimped out the hookers which would have been an enormous revenue stream...Smitty-48 wrote:Now, I did get an inheritance, but it's not like I squandered it on hookers and blow, I invested it, mostly in property, resulting in revenue streams which I add to the mix.DBTrek wrote:Sure, a couple decades of service to your country followed by pursuing ways to be your own boss is alright.

Not me, squire, I am nothing if not law abiding, the oath to the sovereign is a blood oath, unto death, I may have retired from active duty, but my loyalty to the Commander-in-Chief does not stop at the front gate of the garrison.heydaralon wrote:You could have sold the blow and pimped out the hookers which would have been an enormous revenue stream...Smitty-48 wrote:Now, I did get an inheritance, but it's not like I squandered it on hookers and blow, I invested it, mostly in property, resulting in revenue streams which I add to the mix.DBTrek wrote:Sure, a couple decades of service to your country followed by pursuing ways to be your own boss is alright.

Smitty done rounded up the posse. Him and DBtrek are going to be giving each other blow jobs for at least the next 3 days in this thread, with okee and ND joining in.
How you feel when they carry your water like that for you, Smitty? Thought this was between me and you, you didn't have to go get your boys.

You can always PM Smitty if you want to carry on a 1 on 1.
He’s retired.
Of course, he might also value his time so it’s not a sure bet ...
