Asking for a friend.
They'd need to create a domain that goes on a DNS server, but the companies who maintain them will remove the domain. The registrars will collude to steal the domain as well. They need somebody to hose the website, but the companies that do so will drop their accounts. They need somebody to handle DDOS attacks, but the handful of companies that do that will refuse to sell them that service.
Without net neutrality, the alt-right will disappear from the internet outside of the fringes. You'll still see people on message boards and whatnot, but there will be no major alt-right websites. There will be no popular alt-right podcasts on major feed services.
Except we've also seen it happen to Gab, which is a free speech platform, not an alt-right or alt-left platform.

Word on the street is that a new registrar is in the works. It's not going to be advertised as free speech and right wing friendly. It's just going to do it. Lots of fucking money is required though. There are s at least a few wealthy backers behind the movement though.
Anyway, what DVD ripper is everyone using on GNU/Linux?

It never was a free speech entity, if it was, then it wouldn't have buckled...Speaker to Animals wrote:The Conservative wrote:You know though, I am not sure if that's a bad thing or not... because if we see this happening to the Alt-Right, we can then demand the same treatment happen to the Alt-Left as well.Speaker to Animals wrote:

Wasn't there just an app called gab or something of the sort that just relented the the SJW... I remember reading it somewhere in the last week. It was one of those "free speech" type apps...Speaker to Animals wrote:The Conservative wrote:It never was a free speech entity, if it was, then it wouldn't have buckled...Speaker to Animals wrote:

They didn't capitulate. Their app was removed from Google's app store because they refused to censor.

The registrar issued a complaint to Gab over Anglin's post. They claimed it violated the terms of service Torba claims.
This is the weird part though. Nobody has ever seen a TOS with guidelines like that for a registrar before. Typically it's as simple as agreeing not to violate US or international law etc. Hosts will often have a lengthy TOS but it's unheard of for a registrar. Also, the registrar is Asian or maybe specifically Chinese.
Edit: it's Anguilla whatever that is

Java 8 is really amazing. I never really had a need to get into the functional programming additions, but it's changed everything. I am basically doing most of things I could do in Lisp, but in a language that better scales and implements common design and architectural patterns.
It's crazy how much Java has changed since 1999 when I began learning it as an undergrad. Java is like my life as a software engineer in a way. I wonder if a lot of late-Gen X engineers feel the same way.
At the same time, I am going through Python again to play around with TensorFlow, and quickly remembered that the adjective "Pythonic" is a euphemism for sloppy software.
Come at me, IT bitches.
