Only the most expensive washing machines are made in the USA, the $1200-$1400 ones, so basically just a washing machine tax on the poor and lower middle classes, transfer of wealth from them to Wall Street.

If they are buying new washing machines on credit cards they deserve to stay poor.

Whirlpool missed on the earnings report last quarter, sounds like they got on the phone to Washington to execute a money grab for them.

Republican socialism for the rich.

But a beast stirs below...

This raises the probability that an upcoming spending deadline overlaps with the debt limit, which we estimate will need to be raised at some point between late February and late March. While financial markets mostly ignored the shutdown, a disruptive debt limit debate could have a more negative impact.
I told you yesterday we were going to go through this fight again in a month.............. this time Schumer is embarrassed and backed into a corner by the radicals that are his base........... gonna be a lot of fun.
Wow, Schumer runs back to his tree fort vows to get them next time and A kitty quakes in fear, awe and reverence. Where have I seen this before?

They'll still buy it, they'll just tack 30% more on the credit card; also a transfer of wealth to Wall Street, double dip.

Not me, I can buy Whirlpool if I want to partake in the money grab, but I think it's a dog, hence why they are going cap in hand to Washington to steal money from the working man.

Can't compete, pull the tariff switch for direct transfer of wealth from the rubes, who knew?
