I understand that’s textbook leftist dogma, but why do you believe it? I would think Jews in particular would be extra sensitive to socio-political stereotyping of the religious, given recent history.

The loggers, printers, artists, and delivery personnel whose very livelihood depends on people doing things like sending Christmas cards probably don’t share your enlightened view that employing fellow citizens and sending war sentiments to friends, neighbors, and business colleagues is “wasteful”.

But fuck all those people, right? And fuck the warm sentiment behind sending the card and the joy experienced by those receiving cards. In myopia-world holiday cards are simply a capitalistic endeavor in deforestation, vanity, and waste.
