You’re not wrong man. I’m doing great at work, but the home life isn’t easy. Plus it’s winter, and the babies are a lot to deal with.

Just have to push through, I guess. I’ll be fine next year.

More than anything, I’m starting to realize that things aren’t looking good for the future (economically, socially, etc). I’m running out of reasons to be optimistic, when the most cynical view is nearly always correct. Things are looking grim out there.

And yeah, I can burrow down and focus on my own shit, but I have to consider how to prepare for my kids’ future. And Dude, I don’t even know what they can look forward to. A police state? Fascist SJW hellscape? Total economic ruin?

It’s a bad time to be a kid, and I’m genuinely sorry for them.
