Why do these people complain about the consequences of their own politics? You want open borders and endless immigration of nonwestern peoples to "save social security", and yet you are now upset that wages and salaries are stagnant and we all have to eat a shit sandwich from here on out? Sounds to me like you are the one cooking up the shit sandwiches.

The fallacy with these wage productivity memes, is that all they have done is calculated the growth in the economy and then determined that Americans haven't increased the number of hours worked, ergo, "American worker productivity is the source of the gains", but as an owner of capital, I don't think that's really the case, and if you all just refused to show up for work one day, I'd just say bring in more robots made by robots and maybe hire some people overseas to do the administration.

I mean, what's your leverage? It's not my repsonsibility as private shareholder to increase your wages out of the goodness of my heart, that just cuts into my profits, which, I like profits, while I don't like employees actually.

And if you did that in a real nation maybe that nation should tax the fuck out of you so you dont. Your business benefits from American infrastructure and security, so maybe you should pay to play/// for being blessed enough to conduct business in and with America. We have a neo Mercantilism on our hands now. Instead of the East India Company we have Google and Facebook doing from and to their own kind. Good stuff really.

There are several factors why Americans are living paycheck to paycheck and it has to do with two main things.

1) Wage stagnation

2) Fees and credit debt.

True.

But My wealthiest nation the world has ever seen should spend more time benefiting the people in it.

Brittania had a great empire, average joe got to work in a coal mine at age 10. Sounds like the benefits can be spread around a bit more.
Those coals miners made $365 USD a year, inflation adjusted in constant dollars, now the average income in America is $50,000, a 136 fold increase, again, inflation adjusted, so you are in fact the wealthiest imperial citizens in the history of the world, by many orders of magnitude, so your sob story ain't welling me up with tears so far, bet dat.
Almost as though something about those inflation metrics were a bit...off?

Meh, America's public infrastructure ain't what it used to be, so I'll just build my own infrastructure. and security wise, I can get private security too, so who needs you?

Not from the 1960's to now, +/- $50,000 in the 1960's, +/- $50,000 now.

You know what y'alls problem is, eh?

You just vastly overrate your own importance in the grand scheme of things, and in fact, it's no coincidence that y'all is throwing a tantrum about it, because excessive self regard is in fact the source of anger management issues. lol.

Money has no connection to "worthiness" or "virtue". That's the Protestant in you talking.

I make no claims of virtue, I've simply won the lottery of life, why the God of the Hebrews chose me to be born in the right place at the right time and so inherently privileged amongst these here red and green maples, I cannot say, because I know not, but I'm not complaining, Deus vult as they say these days.
