The left constantly uses the Motte-And-Bailey fallacy when debating these things. They go out in organized protest, prepared for combat, cracking completely anonymous strangers heads with bike locks, but when confronted they just claim the right to spontaneously have a peaceful protests against Nazis. It's fucking disgusting that they always get away with it.

And the media covers for them. The American people understand this.

I'm just astonished how many people think the Left is truly innocent in all of this. Even then they come up with some BS like "its ok to punch Nazis BECUZ NATSEE"

It is an amazing disconnect.

In the last year we've seen antifa knocking people comatose, mobs waving Mexican flags beating Trump supporters bloody, Universities barring conservative speakers due to leftist mob violence, a BLM supporter sniping police officers, another deranged leftist opening fire on Republican congressmen . . . and yet none of this registers as ideological violence to the left.

We can point at neonazis and white supremacists ad say "Damn, you all are fucked up because your ideology drives you to violence, and that's not cool" . . . but should anyone point out that "Many of these leftists are fucked up because their ideology drives them to violence" there's a huge backlash from the media and public at large.

Ideologically driven violence = ideologically driven violence.
It's a fact so obvious as to require no further explanation. A = A. B = B.
Yet half this country (at least) is hypnotized into some mass delusion that leftist ideological violence is an exception to the rule.

Aside from the murdered cops (and the perps if alive should be executed by artillery for that) and the women attacked at the first Berkeley riot, most of the casualties were people who showed up for a fight.

If the cops are going to hold back like this, I'd prefer for them to lay the hammer down on anybody who attacks nonparticipants (can there be a noncombatant rule in a street war?) and just laugh it off when the combatants run each other over in the steets. When the media gets apoplectic about it, the police chief should tell them that people who play stupid games win stupid prizes, get a job.

Because they're our educated "betters", and it's their burden to do the right thing for the rest of we stupid proles who are simply too uneducated and common to understand the nuances of life, history, politics, and art as well as they.

I believe that's the prevailing sentiment among college faculty, right?
