Re: Au Revoir, Paris Accord?
So one of my best friends is literally working in a certain house that may or may not be white. What cracks me up about the people that are freaking out about the Paris situation is that the average Joe has NO IDEA how much money is truly in Washington. When these Green technologies which we are still developing above any other place in the world despite the accords become profitable, we, Americans, are going to invest an insane amount of money into it. That money is going to come from Washington, from Republicans and Democrats.
I swear to fucking god the Left is a religion without the bullshit fables. Fucking dumb asses, that refuse to believe that the left is as far into empire building as the right is, they just suck at it.

Outside the Lefties own bubble, who the fuck gives a rats ass about the Paris Accord anyways? It's a special interest driven boondoggle, it's not a populist imperative, what America do these clowns think they're living in? Even if Joe Q. American doesn't know the details "Paris Accord" sounds like some sort of Frenchie Commie America Bashing Scam, right there in the title.

In agreement (takes shot of wild turkey)

Look, I know that the Paris Accords instead the greatest thing but it was something. I mean as of now, were pretty fucked in the ass when it comes to climate change. But we do need hope but the hope dismisses when Trump says that America will not be part of it. I mean the current narrative that is going around is that Trump is doing this because it will hurt our economy but the truth is it doesn't. In fact investing in new cleaner technology was something we should've starting doing way back in the 1960s/1970s but time and time again, the people in charge just would kill it.Martin Hash wrote:I missed that in the Paris Accord? p.s. Conflating Environmentalism & the Paris Accords is EXACTLY what The Left is doing.

America not being part of it, is the only hope, only the Leaders of the Free World, can turn back the tide of this Eco-Bolshevist "Do Something!" bum rushed special entrenched interest fraud scheme.

Are we though? If this thing was so ironclad why is the whole world not flipping its shit. If in 2100 it's a sure thing that all of the worlds major cities are going to be under water, than I'd have to believe we would see some Apollo program level shit happening... This isn't about climate change, this is about Donald Trump. This is about politics. Fucking A man.Penner wrote:Look, I know that the Paris Accords instead the greatest thing but it was something. Eh, I'm not bothered by climate change anymore. In fact, I've come to welcome it. Natural regulation, if a species isn't smart enough to save itself before getting off War World, too bad so sad, the Great Filter will do its work and Purge The Biosphere for a couple million years then rest and start the whole process all over again, just like it has the prior Five Great Extinction Events. We were tested and found wanting, so thus the chaff shall be separated away from the wheat.
It's a big galaxy, and her Milky stars will burn bright for another few billion years at least, plenty of time and space for a worthy inheritor to arise. So maybe it wasn't homo sapiens, so what? Means our coda will come much sooner than some people were expecting, that's Natural Selection, bitch. The dinosaurs couldn't cut the mustard, we should we have been any different? C'est la vie, and pass me a beer.
