Clearly, I neglected to state "nonwhite American Nationalist". Mea culpa, but in context didn't think it needed to be said. The reality is both here and in other european or european colonized nations with nonwhite immigrant populations you don't typically find them spouting the nationalist line.

I don't agree. Being white is not the same as being an American no matter what the alt-right would have you believe. And if you are an American you are part of the American Nation.

Let's start by defining "nation" which is usually, or was, defined as a group of people who are aware of a shared common identity. A nation is not synonymous with a state otherwise the idea of nation-state as created by the Treaty of Westphalia would not be a fairly new concept.

A state like the Ottoman Empire was composed of many different nations, while the territory of State of Italy, once occupied by a number of different kingdoms, city-states, the theocratic Papal States, etc became a "unified" (sort of) Kingom of Italy, the Italian nation-state. ISIL is trying to create its own theocratic nation state based on an extreme version of Wahabisism. Then there is the Kurdish nation trying to create a state with their nation as its core. In Germany, the idea of a German nation that was created by a common German culture, and language, was poisoned by Hitler's insistence that it had to a shared ethnicity created by blood, not anything else. WW 2 a very large number of Jews considered themselves Germans as did many other Germans. We know what happened.

Here in the United States we have some white supremacists trying to split off a smaller nation of whites from the larger American (civic) nation. As an American, I fine with being identified with the American nation, but I will not allow myself to be considered part of the alt-right's white nation, most certainly not a white nationalist especially under the white supremacy's vomit.

Instead of just sterilizing the mentally ill, the physically disabled, criminals, and the poor (of all races in the States), they started killing the hospitalized mentally ill. They even rigged up a test vehicle to kill some people with carbon monoxide gas, but mostly with poisoning, cutting off food, etc. There were doctors and nurses who helped. The program ended prematurely when relatives became suspicious, then started complaining.
