No malaria in Ohio, honky.
Anymore faggot. You can thank all the white trash you love to bash for reclaiming that land
The name "Lima" was reputedly chosen in a nod to the Peruvian capital, which during the 1800s was a major source of quinine, an anti-malaria drug for which there had been a demand in the region, an area known as the Great Black Swamp.[7]

Whatever, homie. I've got family going back to the 1500s in New England. The majority of them were German farm-folk in Wisconson, since the 1800s. I'm every bit as much a native as you are.

There's no excuse for Stupid, regardless of your heritage.

Exactly. And if you were thinking that trump would change that, you'll be sorely disappointed.

OK. Well how long you guys want to keep doing this Afghanistan thing like we have been. Another 15 years, 30 years ?
Don't think anyone here is saying they want it to continue, just saying it will because of the vested interests of the corperations who have the governments ear and who really run the country...
What corporations ?
Hell, Trump wants to take all their Mineral Wealth, wouldn't that be good for Corporations of the Evil Empire ?

Lockmart, Raytheon, Blackwater, all the contractors. Hasn't been a bad time for anyone making weapons and supplies really. Oh, and then there's the the Exxons and such getting lucrative contracts to "assist" rebuilding the oil fields. Then there's Goldman Sachs as always chomping at the bit to offer their valuable services.

Have you met our Secretary of State btw? He just got back from Russia...

It's been a while since I did it, but yeah. There's a guy that came over with the colonists and had a piece of land near Yale. Farmer as well, as it happens. Like I said, most of the family came over in the late 1800s/early 1900s from Germany, and went to Wisconson to farm.

Only because like the other parties out there, it was allowed to be gutted for quick wins instead of playing the long game.

Lockmart, Raytheon
Not according to the stock price, Lockheed Martin and Raytheon stock prices both went down when the US invaded Afghanistan, the big run up for LMT and RTN started in 2013, pretty sure 8400 US service support personnel on an advise and assist mission in Afghanistan, is of no particular interest to either Lockheed Martin or Raytheon shareholders, if anything, COIN cuts into Lockheed Martin and Raytheon business, their primary customers being the Air Force and Navy, not the Army nor Marine Corps.

Which products do you think Lockheed Martin and Raytheon make, which are significantly profited by low level COIN operations? Aegis Destroyers? Nuclear Submarines? Anti-Ballistic Missile systems? How many SCUDs do the Taliban have? How many missiles does Raytheon make, which target roadside bombs? How many F-16's is the Afghan National Army going to buy?

If Lockheed Martin and Raytheon have entrenched interest enemies of choice, that's Russia and/or China, not the Taliban.

Bear in mind, the Obama administration actually cancelled the F-22 program, under the rubric of "no longer relevant nor affordable for the GWOT", the GWOT as a vested interest for the likes of Lockheed Martin, is a silly talking point, even in the context of an internet saturated by such mindless blather. Now the Air Force only has 187 F-22's to last them for the next forty years; thanks Obama.

How many of those trillions do you think we spend on useless jets without the MIC beating its chest for 15 years, while we blow up tribespeople?
