Nah, more like talking out of your spleen about how it's the same price to use illegal labor, because you have zero understanding of wtf is happening around you.

I said nothing like that but you know, cowardly bitches have to make wild inferences in order to get a win, because when you dont understand the world around you, you lash out and it is everyone else's fault. Liberals be bitches.GrumpyCatFace wrote:Nah, more like talking out of your spleen about how it's the same price to use illegal labor, because you have zero understanding of wtf is happening around you.

First, I would not advocate retroactively applying how the States decide Electors to the 2016 results.clubgop wrote:

Second, I don't know enough to determine if this is a valid Constitutional argument.
Third, obviously, no one on the Left would be making this argument if they thought that it would harm their "side".
However, there is validity in the idea that the winner-take-all method of choosing Electors does make the votes of anyone that does not live in a swing state not really matter. I live in Oklahoma. There was an insignificant possibility that anyone but Trump would win Oklahoma.
I'm a "fake outsider", so I Felt the Johnson, but I was confident that I could do so without having any effect on the outcome of the national election. If Electors were assigned proportionally, as they are in Nebraska. I would have been more likely to vote Trump (aka not Hillary).
No State is going to do this on there own, though, because it is strictly to the political detriment of the majority party. Oklahoma changing to a proportional allocation of Electors could only benefit the Democrats.

I think proportional would be a fine compromise. Which it is why it will never happen.Atherzon wrote:First, I would not advocate retroactively applying how the States decide Electors to the 2016 results.clubgop wrote:

Just so we're clear, neither I nor my friends are submitting job applications to one of the local roofers after all their workers get deported back to central america. They could pay me triple what I'm getting now and it would still be nowhere near enough. Bottom-tier tech work is cheap, but damn air conditioning in the summer and effective breaks when computers need to "recompile" or whatever are nice.
So, when the next big hailstorm comes and punches a hole in your shingles, you can have fun duking it out with your homeowners insurance about having to pay triple to get it replaced than you do now, or just get used to changing the leak bucket every hour when it rains.
