Yeah don't think the Sens are going to let us keep that first rounder this year, we'll end up getting that 2019 first rounder from them instead, hopefully they have to trade Karlsson next year and it all falls apart for them and we win next years draft lottery without even having to tank. Ottawa can do the tanking for us, thanks Matt Duchene, lulz. Avs rebuild is already way ahead of schedule, and getting a top pick in 2019 would only further entrench that.

Imagine the Avs get Jack Hughes just because Ottawa made an epically boneheaded trade, doesn't give up this years first rounder, Karlsson demands a trade and they stink the league up next year as a result, that would be fucking glorious.
