Most of Trump's complaints about the media, aren't even about politics, he just says that they report shit about his personal behind the scenes life, that they wouldn't report on about other Presidents, but the problem for him is, the media wouldn't know if everybody around him wasn't feeding this stuff to the media, like, even Ivanka is outing him to the media, they're all stabbing Trump in the back all the time, he's a fool to trust his kids, they're clearly some of the biggest leakers of them all.

Trump is leaking some of it himself and then feigns outrage, when it's to his advantage anyway, so it's a double-edged sword.

Javanka thinks they should be the President, they're totally out for themselves, and they're totally in the pocket of the Democrats and media.

Don jr is a total moron, this whole Russia collusion thing is all his fault, he went rogue and started doing his own thing, to try to insert himself as a power broker.

They learned from the biggest media whore of them all. Trump ain't that mad at them, he saves most of his anger for non-family instead, regardless of whether it's wise to do so, or not. If his kids gain at his expense, he might even be happy with that tradeoff, in certain instances anyway, Teflon Don can roll with punches as good as anyone, his kids could use the boost. Trump leaks shit to the media when it benefits him, it's a go-to tactic for the kids as well, unless they leak something that really hurts him, he's going to let it slide.

The leaks from the family he's probably okay with. One of the reasons he ran was to open up doors for his kids and grandkids, so why would he get mad about them doing what he would do in their position, when it's not even hurting him that much?

See, Trump is not concerned about Russia collusion, because he knows they got nothing on him there, but when Don jr met with the Russians, he exposed the Trump Org, he pulled the Trump Org into to mix, so now Mueller can go through the Trump Org with a fine tooth comb, digging into to all of Trump's shady dealings and bullshit fronts, that's what he's worried about.

So it's Don jr who screwed the pooch, he's exposed the family business to the FBI, when his job was to make sure that the Trump Org didn't get dragged into this shit.

His name is his name, and that extends to the rest of his family. Himself taking a minor hit so his kids can get ahead, probably not losing a lot of sleep over that, by comparison.

I honestly don't think he likes Don jr, that's why Don jr did it, Javanka clearly has daddy wrapped around her little finger, but not Don jr, Trump seems to treat Don jr like a flunky, Don jr is not in the loop, and that seems to be why he went and met with the Russians, to try to make himself into a player, jockeying for position against the favourite Javanka.
