It's pointless now, they have a better solution, they can implement a system now which is exponentially better than any wall, they can implement a system right now, which will render most crimes a pointless exercise, the technology is straight out of Phillip K. Your solution doesn't sell as well as the wall, you can have your cake and eat it too and it will sell far better than your plan all by itself. It's like you people dont understand how well "The Wall" sells, regardless of it's utility, it's the mental image that sells the thing, not logic. The Wall still sells better than your plan, even though your plan will work better, so you might use "The Wall" to sell your plan to the public, instead of hating on something that can sell your plan quicker than you could sell it without using The Wall as cover to sell your plan.
