So, new elections coming up. Finally. The thing I like about the British system of having to declare new elections is the short time they have between the call and the election. Short campaigns are preferable. Less emphasis is put campaign promises and grandstanding debates.

I wonder what will happen. The winner takes it all model is deeply flawed and unfair but it adds drama.

The other side is a Lib-Lab-SNP coalition with around the same % of the vote.
Two weeks before Christmas combined with voter burn-out it might only be a 30-40% turnout.

The unknowns are how many disillusioned Tories move right towards Farage and how many Tory remainers move to the centre and the LD's.
The Northern pro-Brexit Labour voters will do well for Farage but I don't think he'll get more than a dozen seats and will split the vote in marginal areas benefitting Labour.
Boris needs to trash Nigel relentlessly until he pulls out and leaves the road clear for him. He's got to go full ''new deal'' I'm the only man who can get it done and he'll move away from no-deal.

Absolutely, Labour should be miles ahead after 2 shambolic failed Tory governments since the referendum.
Corbyn is holding them back. He's unelectable.
They need a centrist like Blair not an old socialist like Jezza.
Hilary Benn would make a good leader next time.

Nonsense, No Deal gets you a better deal after you leave. There is no reason to cave just to get a deal before you leave, especially when the deal you will be get will be better if you don't. You're just super impatient, and/or are under the delusion that if you leave without a deal, there will never be any deal.
