I am telling you how it is. Biden is not going to win anything.
You are telling me how you wish it was. You think Trump beating Jeb and Hillary is a sign that the Gabbard's and Yang's of the world can win against Biden, as if any ideas candidate can beat any establishment candidate.

You are going to find out that Trump won because he's Donald Fucking Trump, and that any candidate with "ideas" can't pull off what Trump did, that ain't how it works.
I'm confused. Jeb got 4 electoral votes and 6th place. Why making him out to have been in the race at all? Cruz got 556. Trump won because he was playing a reality TV game show, not being a politician, since he wasn't and still isn't.

Biden will fade away as soon as there's nothing more for the media to buzz about on his entrance to the race. Old white guy with no distinct message and way too long a record in govt. Not that I disagree with his centrist views, it's just that they won't keep anyone's attention. He is the Jeb of the moment. There will be more flashbacks to 2016 as the media seizes on another darling for a moment and then we winnow the pool.

The big reveal of 2020 will be whether Trump has permanently lowered the bar on qualification, faux pas, and all the other stuff that has traditionally damaged candidates. Does anyone really care about Biden being a bit touchy after Trump boasts of 'grabbing them by the pussy'? Or will the Dems go the other way like when they threw Franken under the bus? (Fuck that bitch Gillibrand)
There are no darlings to seize on, there is a field full of nobodies even less able to capture media attention than Biden. Trump hasn't lowered the bar enough for the weak Dem 2020 field to take advantage of it, y'all overestimate Biden's competition and are tunnel visioning on his weaknesses instead of comparing his weaknesses to the weaknesses of those in the field.

Trump changed the 2016 race, without Trump it would have been Bush or Rubio who won. Going by the results with Trump in the race does not tell how it would have gone if he never ran.

You don't seem to grasp how an election works. Biden has to convince all these democrats to vote for him. Nagonnahappen.

Biden seems to be employing the Hilary strategy. Make as few appearances as possible and let the MSM do the leg work.

If the gay guy polled at all with blacks he could probably beat Biden. Sadly, I think this will be Trump's to lose. He won't though because now the establishment likes him.

No he doesn't, he just needs the rest of the vote to be split, he only needs around 25-30% of the base and a few early primary wins, and it's in the bag. It's not hard to get that many neo-liberals to vote for him, and then ride the electability wave after early primary wins to victory, just like Romney did.

As you'll recall, Clinton won the 2016 primary, even the Clinton strategy, as lame as it is, is enough to win the Democrat primary, especially when the field is divided, Clinton had a united field against her backing Sanders and still won. Biden has 20 other Democrats stealing each others votes, but not stealing enough of his base, it's a real sweet situation to be in, the only problem is he's Biden the gaffe machine, but his nomination to lose.

Biden doesn't need to convince voters to actually cast votes for him in the primary to win it?? The fuck?

He doesn't have to convince that many far left voters, convincing the pro-Hillary crowd is easy enough, they already back him over the rest of the field.

It will be interesting to watch Bernie again though. Will he reuse the money he already raised?

Would be interesting if Bernie ever took the kid gloves off, but he won't, too much of a pussy to take down Biden, only Biden can take down himself.
