I think we agree that Bill Burr is funny and John Oliver isn't.

I think Burr is funny because his punchlines are unexpected, and put normal and acceptable dogma on its ear. If the humor is derived only because I agree with his position, his skill as a comedian is surplus to requirement, and enjoying his bits is no different than the leftists watching Oliver to be confirmed in their moral purity.

Of all the shit out there, the shit that is normal is in the middle of that distribution. If it's +1 or -1 deviations from normal, then that shit ain't normal.

One might erroneously believe comedy could traverse that entire bell curve, but then, they wouldn’t know what the people in this thread have been repeatedly informed of.
Only disparaging the middle part is funny.
There is no other comedy.
