Now it makes sense, underrating Holtby and overrating Bobrovsky. That's why your upset math is so fucked.

Holtby sucks, he's insulated by a big veteran D, they carry him he doesn't carry them. Freddie Andersen is better than Holtby.

Tillerson says coalition forming to target Assad, Trump hearing military options
Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said Thursday that “steps are underway” on an international coalition to pressure Bashar Assad from power, as President Trump was being briefed on military options for Syria – though what specific steps the U.S. and its allies might take in response to the latest deadly chemical weapons attack remained unclear.

America’s top diplomat addressed the Syria crisis a day after Trump declared in the Rose Garden that the chemical strike would not be tolerated. Tillerson pointedly said Russia should “consider carefully” its support for the Assad regime, while calling for an international effort to defeat ISIS in Syria, stabilize the country and ultimately work with partners through a political process that leads to Assad leaving power.

Asked if the U.S. would organize a coalition to remove Assad, Tillerson said: “Those steps are underway.”

Another reason why the Caps are better than Jackets, way better defense. Columbus has Seth Jones and a bunch of dudes I've barely heard of, or haven't even heard of. You make my case for me.

John Carlson
Matt Niskanen
Karl Alzner
Kevin Shattenkirk
Dmitry Orlov
Brooks Orpik
Nate Schmidt

That ain't that great a D, all those guys don't add up to a Keith and Seabrook, it's actually very beatable D, I think the Leafs could get to them.

What's more likely, this is merely saber rattling, or this is the next Vietnam?

Yeah and you could beat up on the Columbus defense even easier, because they suck a whole lot more than Washington does on defense. Not only that but they are the much better offensive team as well. Would rather face Columbus honestly sounds like trolling, that's crazy talk.

See, the thing about that D, it's an example of how the Caps are built for the regular season but not the playoffs, it's a deep D, but with no real top paring, so they can carry you along for the regular season, but when it comes playoff time, all that really matters is the top paring, and Seth Jones and Zach Werenski are better than John Carlson and Matt Niskanen, not as experienced, but I wouldn't trade Columbus' top pair for Washington's, Washington doesn't have a big horse on the back end, which is why Kris Letang has two cups and Washington has none.
