IMO, the Mueller investigation is bullshit, cooked up by the Obama FBI and DOJ to overturn an election.

I find it quite unjust that we don't have a Special Counsel looking into DNC and FBI collusion with 9Russian Agents on the bullshit dossier.

Just investigate each side equally.

The New York Times reported Saturday that George Papadopoulos inadvertently kickstarted the Russia investigation after saying too much to top Australian diplomat Alexander Downer during “a night of heavy drinking” in May 2016. Papadopoulos was Trump’s former foreign policy adviser; in October, he admitted to lying to the FBI about his communication with Russian nationals and pleaded guilty for the fact.

Three weeks before drinking with Downer at a bar in London, Papadopoulos had been told that Russians in Moscow were in possession of thousands of potentially stolen emails that could cause injury to Hillary Clinton. For whatever reason, he thought it’d be a good idea to share this with the Australian diplomat.

In July 2016, WikiLeaks began publishing hacked emails from within the Democratic National Committee. This led Australian officials to contact their American colleagues and share the information Papadopoulos had revealed to Downer.

Exploiting stolen emails to get elected doesn't amount to anything, unless they have proof that Trump himself knowingly stole the emails himself, they got nothing on the President.

Nixon was brought down because he ordered someone to commit a crime, but without that smoking gun, they had nothing on Nixon.

Trump benefited from dirt being dumped by a third party, in an election campaign? So what?

Maybe that's a "crime" to the pen-pen bots, but it's not going to be enough to convict Trump of anything in the senate.

Trump is not going to resign, even if he was impeached he wouldn't resign, so it all comes to a trial in the senate, and in the context of that, they got nothing.

Even being caught red handed obstruction of justice lying under oath, earned Clinton nothing more than censure from the senate, which is fuck all, slap on the wrist, people waiting for the senate to remove a President from office, best not hold their breath.

In this day and age, impeaching Trump would actually be the best thing that could happen to him, he could ride the backlash against that all the way to reelection, it would just incite his base to dig their heels in and show up at the polls.

After Clinton was impeached, his numbers went up, not down, Democrats simply rallied around him all the more; "vast right wing conspiracy" became the narrative.

To effectively impeach a President, it needs to be bipartisan, one side trying to impeach the other sides President, simply backfires.

At this point the liberal media clickbaiters can rely on innuendo, but if they have to actually put up or shut up, it will be exposed as the fluff that it is, and all they will have achieved is to prove Trump's point about partisan fake news, and have riled up his base like a hornet's nest all over again.

Hyperventilating one sided partisan witch hunt is better for Trump, plays right into his hands.

He can jettison subordinates as necessary, but there's zero chance he is removed from office by the senate, so it's just going to have the same effect it had on Bill Clinton, just makes his base rally around him all the more.

If there wasn't a fake news partisan witch hunt, he'd have to run on his record, which is meh so far, but if can he run against the liberal media sycophants again, he stands a much better chance.

Looking the other way when it's Trump and/or the GOP that is under investigation is just hypocrisy. You guys can rail all you want about Clinton but after spending like 3,000 days under that Benghazi investigation and also investigations about her missing email, resulted in nothing, and then try to act like Trump is being set up- is just hypocrisy. Also, the "whataboutism" doesn't make Trump's alleged actions any more less treasonous.

Who cares? The opposition are hypocrites, they look the other way to protect their partisan interests, so, just win baby, and then chuck their sacred cows out of the helicopters.

All that matters is winning, and then doing as much damage to the opposition's entrenched interests as you can, starting with the SCOTUS.

Get those SCOTUS picks, replace Ginsberg and/or Kennedy, and then the war is won, for at least a generation.

If Trump gets one more pick, most people who voted for him will be dead, before the liberals get a chance to rule again.

If conservatives get a 5-4 majority, it's gonna be a rout for many years to come, with the liberals getting shot down one case after the next.

Law making is irrelevant now, all that matters is winning the SCOTUS war.
