Kath wrote:Again, all you have to do is quote me saying that I said the tweets would hurt him. Seriously, just one quote.

About a year ago I predicted he would not give up Twitter, that he shouldn't have to and that he would likely be saying some truly moronic things.

I'm here waiting for you to quote me saying I thought the tweets would hurt him.
There are plenty of reasons that a politician might say something that sounds stupid to Kath, without the reason they said that thing being because they are stupid. So why do you keep going after Trump for saying things that help him on Twitter, all the damn time, as if the only explanation is that he's dumb? Maybe he doesn't care that you think it's stupid, because it's effective regardless of your opinion, ever stop to think of that?

No, the answer has to be Trump is stupid, Kath says so. Even though it's easy to see how Trump benefits from what Kath considers to be a stupid remark, lulz, he must have said it only because he's dumb. Any political gain is merely coincidental, he couldn't have done it intentionally, he's too stupid to do that.

Kath is basically arguing that FDR's fireside chats hurt him, because she thinks they are stupid. She doesn't like how this new communication technique is being leveraged by a politician she doesn't like, therefore it must be ineffective, and only Trump/FDR nuthuggers would say otherwise.

Get better anti-Trump material Kath, then we'll stop ripping into you. If you ripped into FDR for the same reason, we'd rip into you just as hard. Stop trying to attribute our criticisms of your posts to partisanship.
And then she says, "this is dangerous."

Dangerous was the criminal they tried to elect. Dangerous was the guy they elected who armed drug cartels and ISIS. Dangerous is the FBI leadership colluding with the DNC and foreign intelligence agencies to overturn a free election.

Fuck off with this deranged nonsense.

Oh no! The tweets! Not the tweeeeeetttttssss!

I'd say in this case the smart people were able to see that Hillary was an awful candidate and would lose. They see Trump for what he is, chosen by the people as a giant F U to our corrupt system that really wanted to give us Clinton v. Bush in 2016. The smart people understand that Mueller is just a tool of the deep state to counter the will of the people. Smart people understand that the Russia-Trump stuff is bullshit. Smart people understand the FBI, CIA, NSA, DOJ and most all of Washington DC were heavily invested in Hillary winning and maintaining their status quo power over average folks in the US.

Smart people understand that Trump is a flawed person, like every person, but he is his own man. While the press works overtime to cover the flaws of others, they will expose any flaw they can on Trump. Because Trump is his own man, even for all his flaws, he is favorable to just another deep state run POTUS. Everyday he is disrupting a corrupt system and the government is focused on attacking each other they are not attacking us.
Well, there is clearly collusion going on and it's stunning how much most of the media is hiding all this shit about the Clintons. I'm not sure about the whole "deep state" thing, but time will tell. I completely agree that Trump is shaking things up and that is a good thing. I agreed with this sentiment all throughout the campaign.

We'll see about Russia. My best guess is we will find out that it was something, but not the huge something that peeps want to believe. I've been very silent on the Russia thing. I don't have a dog in this fight.

So intellectually dishonest. You keep "conveniently" forgetting the part where I loathe Clinton and didn't want her to be our president. Ever.

Circular Trump is Dumb reasoning, that's all Kath has. Even when he does something that clearly scores him points, he just Mr. Magoo'd his way into it. Stupidity is always the answer when it comes to Trump, according to Kath. Trump is too stupid to realize when something that will sound stupid to some people will work to his political advantage, that can never happen, he's too dumb.

Ok. Now you have two different things to quote me on. Prove I said he dumb-lucked his way to some good decisions. (You don't really have to go look, I don't believe that and never said it.)

You keep saying the only explanation for his actions are stupidity, I'm just putting two and two together. Whenever he says something that stupid to you, you never assume it's because he knows it will play well to his base, you just assume he's being dumb, every damn time, even when it clearly benefits him. He cannot have know that it was going to play well, he's too dumb for that.

That is honestly what you think of Trump, based on your posts in this thread. Anytime I try and tell you he did it for a reason, other than he's stupid, you call me a Trump nuthugger. You refuse to believe he ever says things that sound stupid for political effect, because every time I mention it, it's back to, nah he's just a stupid dumb-dumb, to suggest any alternative theory is to be blinded by a love of Trump.

If his tweeting helps him, like you claim to believe all of a sudden, then why do you keep bringing up his tweets as if that is the best anti-material that you got? The only people who think Trump should stop tweeting are his wishful thinking haters, and Trump is not about to listen to them anytime soon and stop doing what is clearly quite effective for him, just because they wish he would.

Maybe, just one time, read what I write instead of what you imagine in your head. That may help you. Unless you don't want to, of course. Feel free to keep straw-manning me as some Clinton worshiper. I've got a 15-year-ish record of hating on the Clintons online and a close to 30-year record of just plain hating them.
