You guys see the guy as he is portrayed by the media as an orange cheeto looking bumbling idiot. .
I don't disagree. It is getting better. I'm not going to let up on all the moronic shit he does, though. He has no intellectual curiosity. This is dangerous. Not only doesn't he know what he doesn't know, but he's not interested in learning. Knee-jerk reactions are scary.DBTrek wrote:Liking his presidency the more it progresses.

Sigh. So blinded by your love of Trump.StCapps wrote: The person always going after his tweets, as if that proves he's a terrible leader, because he tweets insults! Clown Show Kath.
While Obama was president, I picked on the things he said and the decisions he made, but he was always a gentleman and nice guy.
While Trump is president, I'll pick on his moronic behavior and lack of intelligence, while acknowledging when he does good things.
In general, I don't like either side. You guys are just forgetting the part where I wasn't an Obama fan, either. If Hillary were president, this forum would look even more like an echo chamber and you would all think I have balanced opinions. You're all just angry I'm not a Trump worshiper.

Re: THE ERA OF TRUMP
His tweets are stupid.
But effective.
And he’s leveraged his message past the hostile gatekeepers in the MSM and connected with Americans directly. Meaning his tweets have effectively undercut one of the most powerful industries in our nation and stripped them of their monopoly on the American narrative. They never saw it coming. They have no response.
That’s not stupid.
That’s good instincts and impeccable timing.
The content of the tweets is rather irrelevant when examining the brilliance of leveraging Twitter to undercut a hostile media. It’s like complaining that McArthur didn’t land at Inchon with tier 1 military troops. The brilliance was in the tactic, not the payload.
But effective.

If I call you out on being Trump hater, it can only be because I love Trump. Or maybe you aren't as balanced as you claim to be, but no you refuse to believe that, because you build your identity on claiming to remain neutral and hate on all sides of the political spectrum equally. Picking on his tweets, is reaching, and yet it's all you got.Kath wrote:Sigh. I agree. Making himself look stupid so he can keep his blind followers ignorant is a brilliant strategy.DBTrek wrote:His tweets are stupid.

So as long as someone is doing SOME good things, everything else they do wrong is off the table? Did you give the same consideration to Obama? I don't believe you did.StCapps wrote: Picking on his tweets, is reaching, and yet it's all you got.

Kath refuses to admit that his tweeting is effective, she wants to believe that because she thinks his tweets are stupid that it must be political malpractice to keep tweeting, but she's just projecting on the electorate, she thinks voters are smart or some shit, it's pretty funny.DBTrek wrote:His tweets are stupid.

Trump is speaking to the stupid people and it's working Kath, whether you like it or not is irrelevant, when it comes to how effective his tweets actually are. Stop pretending that everyone thinks like you do, they don't, your views are not representative of the voters, especially when it comes to Trump's tweets.
Just because you don't like it, that doesn't mean it isn't effective, politics doesn't conform to Kath's whims.

Sounds like you ascribe to Progressive Eugenics. You must be of Superior Genetic stock.
Since you are the arbiter of intelligence, can you tell me why........
All the 'Smart' people said Hillary was going to win the election
Why all the 'Smart' people said it wouldn't be close.
How Trump won the election with less money, less staff and no experience
The 'Smart' people told us the economy was going to immediately crash if Trump was elected
The 'Smart' people laughed at Trump when Trump said he was spied on
Don't conflate the use of the English language with intelligence. I understand that many people who love to ascribe to an Academic Ideal want desperately to believe they are smarter.............. it's simply not true. We've had our Academic POTUS', BHO, Woodrow Wilson, both were shitty leaders, but they spoke well, so I hope that gives you a warm feeling.
The Press and Government in general cling to the Academic Ideal, and words are their weapons. Everything is focused on the process of getting your card punched along the way. To them Trump is the ultimate Evil. For if an outsider to the system is able to walk in to your playground and be successful it means the Academic Ideal and the love of the governmental system is false. It blows up the idea that any of that is smarter, more experienced or special in any way.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and guess that you’ve never had to serve in any kind of serious leadership role.
Because Steve Jobs says you’re full of shit.
