Re: Trump's SCOTUS
What passes for rational thought process with many Americans:
“This poor woman was almost raped thirty-five years ago in some place, some time, even though no one named as a witness will corroborate the claim. THE FBI MUST INVESTIGATE AT ONCE!!!”
Ok.
What should the FBI investigate first? The unknown time, the unknown place, or question the witnesses who have already stated they know nothing about any of this? Where should the FBI begin, do tell.

It's not "what" it's "how long." To even begin an investigation is to start a Mueller-probe.

Confirm him and then have the FBI investigate. It's not like there is a statue of limitations on it. Also, they will finally arrest and charge this bitch for lying if they have to get involved.

I’m just waiting for some grown up in the senate to ask which part of the story the FBI should begin investigating. Demand a specific starting point.Martin Hash wrote: ↑Fri Sep 28, 2018 11:51 amIt's not "what" it's "how long." To even begin an investigation is to start a Mueller-probe.
Force them to recognize that there is nothing to be investigated, as no hard details exist and no witnesses can testify to the veracity of the story. The FBI can investigate nothing.
It’s like if I accused you of pulling a knife on me and taking my lunch money thirty years ago, maybe during the summer or fall, but no one else saw it.
What the fuck is there to investigate?
Nada.

Re: Trump's SCOTUS
They would investigate your claims in order to prove you lied and made a false police report. Then they would arrest you.

Re: Trump's SCOTUS
People in my area are really fucking pissed right now at the democrats. More so than usual. Are you guys noticing a similar trend?
It kind of feels like they snapped something in the American psyche yesterday.
Also, my feminist neighbor isn't coming at me. I think she knows this was a farce and is just checking out of politics again. On the one hand, I see the lugenpresse running with fake outrage and righteous indignation from the wamen, but I just don't see that where I live, and it's kind of an interesting borderland between batshit liberalism and Trump Nation.

Re: Trump's SCOTUS
They should start by investigating the credibility of the accuser. But that would be mean, so it won't happen.

Seattle is crazy as fuck, as always. Here’s a popular meme people in my area are throwing on their on social media pages:

An investigation would be a Dem win. As proven by Mueller, “investigations” can last forever. Ignore Flake, assume his “no” vote and rely on Pence.
