My state's version of what we are going to do to get kids back into school.... fuck this noise, either open up or don't. This hybrid school shit is going to kill the ability of parents to go back to school...

There's no way schools can reliably enforce those guidelines. This is stupid. Stay at home and distance learn. Home schooling ftw. Even with those protocols in place it won't stop the spread like simply not getting into crowded buses and rooms would. Not go and learn at home. This will reduce the spread much more effectively. We know this from the 1918-1920 pandemic. The Conservative wrote: ↑Thu Jun 25, 2020 9:08 amMy state's version of what we are going to do to get kids back into school.... fuck this noise, either open up or don't. This is the "Leftist Logic" that these people believe. There is no logic... that's the problem.GloryofGreece wrote: ↑Thu Jun 25, 2020 9:43 amThere's no way schools can reliably enforce those guidelines. This is stupid. Stay at home and distance learn. Pupolar Science gets into the act today.COVID-19 cases are surging, but not because of Black Lives Matter protests

Oh wait . . . but what's this here in the second paragraph?
....Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh. So, not actually confirmed "SCIENCE".Their results are published in a working paper that has not yet undergone peer review, a key step to getting a research study published in a scientific journal.
I see.

I've got a firestorm going on FB; winning so far...
For interest's sake, I thought I go through my tactics. I develop and refine my single-sentence pithy replies here. This is the ideal place because it has amazingly intelligent people who aren't afraid to call out wrongness. Most importantly, if I'm wrong, I get swatted down where no one else can see. On FB I look like a goddamn superman.

That's one of the reasons I've stayed with this group for as long as I have, anywhere outside of this place the ability to browbeat people with facts, logic, etc is easy... most people just curl up into a ball when they try the political talking points on you.Martin Hash wrote: ↑Fri Jun 26, 2020 7:13 amI've got a firestorm going on FB; winning so far...
