Trump is still better than anyone else who could be POTUS

might as well go back to the well

unless someone better comes along

I see no sign that is going to happen before 2024 tho
Fair and I don't disagree. I just don't think that the people who didn't get it would get it on second go round. I have given up hope on a large part of the populace. Pared my giving a shit down to around 25 people. The rest can do whatever, I don't care.
Biden barely won, even with the rules changes, many of which won't be around in 2024, without a pandemic to justify them

the Democrats coalition actually got weaker, they just got really lucky, and pulled it out by the skin of their teeth

Trump could easily win again, pull a Grover Cleveland, especially with how poorly the Biden Administration is going

but yeah, not putting faith in the larger populace, is a good idea regardless of whether Trump wins again or not
Biden didn't win. There is no way in hell that he was the most popular president ever in the history of history. Not buying any of that bullshit.

Trump could, and probably will, win but I don't know what good that does. Other than some short term goals. Some of it feels like the promise of Obama's second term. "Oh the shackles will be off because he has nothing to lose now." Meh, bold men be bold. Is he gonna bring the torch for real this second time? I have my doubts.

More of the same from Trump would be fine

Trump not doing a lot was a big part of his appeal

doing stuff is overrated

like Hitler he did a lot

but don't we all just wish he went golfing, had some hilarious tweets, while eating McDonald's and drinking Diet Coke instead?

The CIA (and DOD)continues to push Biden down the stairs
In the end, the CIA’s description of what a worst-case scenario could look like “was pretty close to what happened,” one former official briefed on the matter said.

The White House won’t confirm whether President Joe Biden ever received such a dire forecast from his national security team. The president himself appeared to dispute a month ago that intelligence suggested the increasing likelihood that the Afghan military would fold.
So many questions, haven't heard a word from the Gang of 8, the House or Senate Intel Commitiees that we heard so much about during Trump impeachment.

I think Biden is done. Washington see him as a weak man who can't mount a real defense, and the rest are in full preservation mode.

Don't threaten me with a good time.

Trump era was fun. I am always down for some more fun. I saw him as the "stick in the spokes" candidate. The big "fuck you" to the machine of just keep it moving crowd. He turned out to be the "frick you guys, kinda sort of" candidate.

Trump: “He’s (Biden) not running government anyway. They have a cabal that runs government. A group of people.”

Maria: “Who’s running it, Mr. President? Who do you think is in charge?”

Trump: “I don’t want to say right now.”

there are five things that are actually the Presidents job

which are the best barometer to judge them on

so how did Trump do?

1) The Bully Pulpit - he said what we wanted him to say, when no one else had the balls

2) The Veto - he veto'd the House Democrats bullshit that he needed to veto

3) The Pardon - he pardoned who he needed to pardon

4) CinC - he started no new wars

5) SCOTUS - he picked good judges

literally on every single important measure, he did good to great, especially relative to many of his predecessors

hard to ask for more from a POTUS, especially these days

perfect is the enemy of good

There ya go. That’s why trump didn’t get shit done, and nobody could.

Now can we hurry along to the Revolution?

I'm not sure this is true. They may be better than what the Democrats would have picked, but they still seem to generally operate as the establishment want them to.
