The fact that he'd used them all up or hid them so well that no one can find them is not evidence that he didn't have any.

He had a thriving WMD-program before Desert Storm. Then he didn't. In fact, Operation Desert Fox can now later be seen as very successfull as it destroyed the last remnants of that program. What is then extremely ironic, that afterwards Saddam Hussein didn't have anything, but bragged to his people that he had.

Yep, this used to be Dan Carlin's bread and butter. It's kind of annoying for me, now that he has the big audience, he's not talking about these issues. Dan used to talk about this crap ad nauseam, but there was only a dozen of us in the room. Anyway, not going down the rabbit hole again.
