I was aware of the possibility of this, but seeing it in living color is an entirely different thing. Remember, I'm still on the fence whether 9/11 was staged, allowed to happen, or legit. Seeing video evidence of it would still be startling, even if I truly believed it already.

They can't do it with their planes - it would have to be SAMs....and I'm not sure their SAMs can see our latest drones and fighters - but then again - the DoD may not want to give the Russians a chance to see our best tech in action.

Nonsense. The entire Cold War was about threatening back and forth, and every major event since. They did manage to shoot down a spy plane, but that was the closest we ever got to open provocation from them.

I remember on another forum I was on (got too "tinfoil" for me after some real conspiracy freak people joined) this guy posted a 9/11 video... I started watching it, and it started off like most, pointing out building7 collapsing like a demolition without a plane hitting it, etc...

...and then suddenly it's zooming in on slow/single-frame footage of the plane going into one of the towers, somehow morphing the image into a flying saucer "from area 51, top secret alien technology flown by the lizard aliens" which didn't really fly into the building but shot it with some alien phaser beam...

I stopped it there LMAO. My only comment was that either the person who made it was a total loon, or it was CIA disinformation to make any/all "conspiracy" people look like loons.

I honestly have never understood the people who think the "real" planes were diverted elsewhere to unload the passengers while drones of some kind flew into the buildings... I mean seriously, this is a government that bombs children around the planet saying (Albright) "it's worth it", "we came, we saw, he died" Clinton, "I shot my friend and he apologized" Cheney, etc... do you think they'd really care about a bunch of civilians in our own country dying in those planes? Enough to fly them elsewhere and... imprison them for life as "loose ends" to make sure they wouldn't talk? The dead don't talk...

Yeah, there's a lot of weird shit out there. Same with the moon landings, and other conspiracy nonsense.
I think a lot of it is actually CIA misinformation, as you mentioned. There are also ridiculous people out there, which help it along.

One of my neighbors put a 2-page letter on everyone's mailbox last week, emploring us to look at contrails and pointing out that "God didn't make straight, linear clouds like that". He also has a giant piece of plywood in front of his house, encouraging us to listen to Infowars and Breitbart, to get The Truth.

It's stupid yes, but a clear warning sign that the less stable elements of our society are beginning to crack..
