Bill Stepien was just appointed as the White House political director; a senior role. Stepien was Christie's campaign manager, functioned as his enforcer and is widely believed to have directed the Bridgegate fiasco (he was fired by Christie over Bridgegate). Two immediate thoughts come to mind:

1) This is a kick in Christie's ribs while he's lying on the ground; and
2) There's not even anymore pretending that the swamp is being drained. The only worse appointee Trump could have made would be to name one of the surviving Gotti's as head of the DEA.

This will probably be the shortest presidency in modern history. Heard it here first.

Yuk it up, big dog. We each put the pieces together in our own way.

But whether by resignation or assassination, impeachment or mass unrest, I don't see how Trump makes it 4 years. Not at all.
Hell, he might actually just disband congress and declare himself CEO for all I know.
