A number of companies are reporting string earnings this week. This is probably due to inflation resulting in greater income, although GM was strong due to finally getting some inventory and pent up demand.

On the surface, strong earnings reports sound good. Democrats are sure to spin it as the economy is doing fine. My feeling is that people will still be spending through Christmas. When the bills come due in early 2023 is when we will see the recession that even Democrats and their new definitions can't deny. By then they won't care, because the elections will be over.

Anyone else have thoughts on what's coming?
I've been predicting a collapse for almost 15 years; now I'm super cautious. I lived through double-digit inflation & a housing collapse before and didn't even notice it so it'll have to be something bigger than that?

I don't think we are in a traditional recession so it is hard to predict, but I don't expect it to get too bad. My expectation is more stagnation than recession.

The U.S. seems to be pushing for a war with BRICS nations. I see 2 reasons: FMWs lose power after the Midterms so can only stay in control via wartime edicts, and the U.S. wants to maintain its hegemony status including fiat currency. (There is another WEF-related reason.)

Yeah, national Diesel shortage would be real SHTF for everyone.

Amazon, the biggest ordering platform in the world, would be wrecked overnight.

Rock and Metal bands are feeling the inflation and diesel crunch:
https://blabbermouth.net/news/queensryc ... -shortages
Bands are figuring out how to adapt and survive. There's always challenges. Now there's inflation, which means tour buses being diesel, it's ridiculously expensive now — at least twice as much than it was back in 2019. So you have all these challenges. Inflation — prices go up and everything, but, hey, our wages aren't going up. It makes it a challenge for bands that tour.

Tards would have a hard realization that everything needed to produce their Starbucks soy pumpkin spice latte has to come in on stinky diesel truck.

Lol Yup! But then they will push harder for electric transportation because they are idiots and don’t realize that coal is the main power source that charges those batteries….not to mention the filthy Lithium mines and scrapped old batteries.

Those people are the real knuckle draggers because they cannot see more than one step ahead of them….unlike us that they call knuckle draggers.
