Even if you lost everything in a divorce: next... And if you got kids out of the first marriage, that's worth a lot.

Life is a series of lucky events: you were lucky you found a woman long enough to get married at least. Maybe that one will work out, which would be fairytale-like, or maybe you have to try again for a second lucky event.

Further advice:
Retiring at 36 just means you don't have to work for anybody. There's no way you sit around all day playing dominos and golf at 36; you'll end up starting a business, which is worse than any bad marriage I assure you.

Advise men on this:

They are totally destroyed by divorce, and half or more of their income is being stolen every month (they are now slaves), and most women marry for money. How do they "move on" in that situation?

Dude, you've got women waiting in the wings, you're just too shy to do anything about it. (What? Did you forget you post here?)

p.s. And take more enjoyment out of your kid.

No shit, dude. I don't want to enslave myself a second time. If I want sex, I can get that pretty easily. I don't need to get married to have sex.

You guys that have never been there and been raked through the coals do not grasp the gravity of what you are risking.

Getting married is like handing a woman a loaded gun with a legal contract that says that, at any time, she can point the gun at you and pull the trigger without any consequences to herself.

They do NOT face consequences for anything. That's what it means to be a woman. No accountability. No consequences. It's always the man's fault. You already see that every day of your marriage where everything is your fault. How exactly do you think that plays out in a family court system where men are automatically assumed abusers, dead beats, rapists, and God knows what else?

Pro-tip - take any marriage advice you get from bitter singles, divorced people, or people in unhappy marriages with a healthy dose of suspicion. Asking people’s advice about something they hate is never going to get you a balanced answer.

I love marriage. I love having a nuclear family. It is, by far, the most meaningful thing to me in my life. I had a starter marriage, because I thought it would be a good idea to marry my high school sweetheart when I was 20. That was a bad call. But it didn’t ruin me life (or hers), it wasn’t a living hell, it was just a bad choice between incompatible people.

But ... having tanked one marriage you best believe that my standards for forming a second one were a LOT more healthy, well considered, and realistic than they were for the first. It was another 16 years or so before I met someone who I knew I could build a life partnership with. But now that I’m married, with kids, every day of life holds a lot more meaning for me.

Your mileage may vary, but I figured one positive example deserved to be heard in the sea of negativity that is the internet on marriage.

Marriage rocks. Live for something bigger than yourself. Build something greater than the works your solitary hands can create. Find people who love you. Create people who love you. Fill your life with love.

Also, a gym bro was missing for like two months. He showed up the other night and was like, I was in the Philippines, it's incredible! I am going back forever.

Have not seen that dude since.

The same thing can be said about women and family court laws:

Two options:

(1) Tell our women to get fucked and let the race die.
(2) Take away their toys.

Good post.
