There is not much to argue. A graph from the World Bank has shown, empirically, that very few people in 2015 live in conditions that were common in 1820, conditions that could be described as extreme poverty.
An observation for which, I imagine, a graph was surplus to requirement, hence my amusement.

If you're calculating globally, the 1% are in the American middle class.

If you're calculating in the USA only, the 1% are business owners below the median $10 million average.

Is that really people to complain about?
