Here is something interesting to consider- why drive down the block TOWARDS to the protesters? Clearly, he wanted to hurt them and this wasn't in any way in self-defense. In this case, the protesters were the ones who were trying to defend themselves when Fields rammed his car into the crowd (and also ramming not one BUT two parked cars). I mean the driver clearly fucked up his own car by ramming it with two parked cars just so he can hurt some people.

The video clearly shows that he had options to avoid that crowd, he could have backed up, and he drove through an intersection where he could have turned, if he pleas self defense, then he is really dumb, because clearly it was not last resort, nor was the level of force justified, but once he pleas self defense, he's admitting that he internded to use the car as a weapon, at which point; murder.

His only hope is to get murder knocked back to manslaughter.

This was supposed to be a peaceful assembly and it got out of hand because the police willfully stepped down and let protesters get attacked again.
