Obvious troll is obvious, but I don't think it's actually the case, Connor McDavid got sent into the boards in the same way, broke his clavicle, he's 6'1" 200 lbs, it wasn't actually a size related injury, he got shoved from behind and lost his footing, could be anybody who goes down like that, you can break Zdeno Chara if you slew foot him from behind into the boards.StCapps wrote:Small dude can't take the punishment. It is the one major worry with a dude Marner's size. That Leafs playoff run is on thin ice.Smitty-48 wrote:Don't bother trying to taunt me into it, all I can think deeply about is Mitch Marner right now, that is trolling me exponentially more than you ever could, the Franchise takes presidence over everything at the moment, my wife just shouted at me; "Oh fer fucks sakes, enough about Mitch Marner already!" lol.DrYouth wrote:Pretty much what I thought you had...
Until the results of the MRI come back, I can't even fuckin' think straight, I'm certainly in no shape to run a seminar on Canadian culture.
.
Playoff run is on thin ice, but it's not all on Marner, the team is spiraling down right now, falling back to earth just on lack of compete level game over game, Marner can't save them from that, and if they stopped doing that they could make it until Marner got back, but if they don't pull out of the lollygagging spiral, Marner won't make any difference, playoffs are slipping, but the problem is bigger than any one guy.
They got into a playoff position, but then they started patting themselves on the back and feeling entitled to go on cruise control, if they don't cut that out, they will be spiralling all the way back down to the bottom.
Mind you, at this stage of the rebuild, another lottery pick wouldn't actually be a bad thing.
