There's always going to be someone older than you, or me. Unless you're like 140.

That's why Okeefenokee comments annoy me so. He's acting like all that matters is what happened in the past decade, but I remember the political BS further back, so I know what he says is just not true.
Both of you are missing the point. I'm the same age as you, and I've been right here for years, with you, bitching about these fuckers and what they are doing to us, and along comes Trump who has never had shit to do with any of it, and you clowns fall right in line with the same career politicians we have been railing against for years.

All these cock suckers, who have been the targets of our collective ire, are now telling you that Trump is the devil, and you morons are forgetting that these same people are the people we have all been railing against for a decade. Wake the fuck up. The people we were trying to throw out of office four years ago have you convinced that they are your allies. Stop falling for their shit.
The issue is that even though Trump isn't a career politician, he was still worked the government from the outside, by donating large sums of money to both candidates, and he is one of those fucking 1%. I would say that the true people's candidate is Sanders, but if Clinton made him her VP I think there would've been a different outcome.
There you go again. Sanders is a career politician who pandered to naive kids, and then folded when he was instructed to. He played exactly the part he was supposed to play, which was to energize the voters so they would support Clinton when Sanders bowed out. He's a career politician, who's never worked a real job a day in his life, he just conned you, and you think he's the people's candidate.

No, Martin O'Malley was the designated stalking horse for this last election. Sanders, as far as I know he is one of cleanest Senators we have. He certainly is one of the poorest ones. The investments, even those in "blind" trusts, of most members of Congress consistently do much better than anyone else's, including most wealthy people. Isn't that funny?

Not even Sanders truly thought he was going to be the Democratic candidate. He only campaigned because Clinton, and her buddies in Big Finance was (most thought) going to win. He has been railing since the 1970s against Wealth inequality and corruption, but had the same luck as Cassandra. I guess he thought frak it, let's go for it, and spread my prophecy. Maybe somebody will listen. That he came so close to winning was as much of a surprise to him as it was to anyone.
.
He didn't succeed because of the corruption in the Democratic Party, which was all in for Clinton, D-Wall ST.
My guess is because he was a team player, and because, you know, the Orange One was the other choice, he threw his support in for Clinton.

I think the person that was 140 could've been drtrech but unfortunately, he isn't here to defend himself....

Also, you do sound old; older than me of course.
Well, Mondale did lose to Reagan in 1984 so I guess I am. Older that is. My Mom would disagree on the "old ". :-)

And just what happened to drtrech anyways?

Of course, most of the tax money that comes from California comes from the top 1% who are taking all the extra wealth being generated by the whole population. So yes, California's unemployment is very low, but the cost of living is screaming past the incomes of most of us.
At least you are willing to admit that second paragraph. Most Cali defenders only mention the first paragraph and stop there. $10 in Cali will get you what $1 will in most other states.

If he was a Democrat this is all you'd be hearing about in the media, while the EOs would be ignored.

In our enlightenment, we have determined it eliminates inefficiency when we allow only a small percentage of the population to think at one time. Everyone else is stored for future use by being kept in mental stasis playing app games. It is gaining momentum in the rest of the world though... so I expect you will all catch up eventually. ;)

I don't know if it is that bad.

Housing, though, that's a right horror.

It is true that one hasn't been able to a buy even a shack in the Bay Area for maybe, possibly 100,000 since about 1978, unless you are talking about Guerneville. As for an apartments, the last time I saw an apartment for less than 1,000 was like around the 2008 crash.
