So uhh...about that repeal.

I mean, I normally don't like the guy, but Go McCain.

I know that you are a lawyer, you've always been on the conservative side, and now your opinions are dipping into libertarian territory pretty hard, even entering Paul territory. Besides that? I don't know. I assumed you voted for Trump and generally root for Republicans. I definitely could be wrong, do you subscribe to a party?

Sens. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn.;

Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va.;

Susan Collins, R-Maine;

Dean Heller, R-Nev.;

John McCain, R-Ariz.;

Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska; and

Rob Portman, R-Ohio, joined all Democrats to defeat the amendment, which would have given Congress two years to devise a replacement to the 2010 Affordable Care Act.
We'll know if anyone is really interested in this if these people don't get reelected, except for McCain, though. He's done.

So the latest is Trump has threatened to take aware Congress' sweet subsidized Health Care Plan if they can't come up with a good plan for the American people............ I love it!

Sound out of bounds, nope, Trump can revoke the Government Subsidies for Congressional Health Care.
“What he’s saying is, 'Look, if Obamacare is hurting people, and it is, then why shouldn’t it hurt insurance companies, and, more importantly, perhaps, for this discussion, members of Congress?” Mulvaney said. “There is a certain benefit that members of Congress get as part of an OPM decision from a couple of years ago, and I think the president is simply looking at this and going, ‘Is this fair?” .................

Since the regulation came from the OPM, and not an act of Congress, the administration technically could revoke these benefits. But the memo would have to officially be rescinded without Congress

If Trump continues to whip this dead horse, he will simply create another mess by having everything else waiting.

And later you will have a single payer system. Years from now...

Yep.

See your future, Americans....

Obese patients and smokers banned from routine surgery in 'most severe ever' rationing in the NHS
Obese people will be routinely refused operations across the NHS, health service bosses have warned, after one authority said it would limit procedures on an unprecedented scale.

Hospital leaders in North Yorkshire said that patients with a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or above – as well as smokers – will be barred from most surgery for up to a year amid increasingly desperate measures to plug a funding black hole. The restrictions will apply to standard hip and knee operations.
What's your BMI, motherfucker? Papers, please . . . then step right up here on the scales.
