Re: BREAKING NEWS
Whatevs, I'm gonna have me a bacon double cheese burger with some Freedom Fries on the side.
With a chocolate and vanilla milkshake, which they call the Riggs & Murtaugh.
In memoriam of the World Trade Center.
And to celebrate the House of Dien Bien Phu burning.

Ah well, they'll have a nice space available for a huge new shiny Mosque there as soon as they clear the rubble away.

No fan of Catholicism, but I’m very sad to see that place damaged. It’s a monument to human achievement and history.

They will rebuild.
Good thing they now got the entire place mapped by laser. 1 billion points of data. The margin of error is within 5 mm.

Smitty's anti-French Catholic remarks are a whole lot more substantive than the anti-Queen remarks of the other side though, and I say that as a Catholic.BjornP wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 3:23 pmOh, it's not edgy to call Catholicism the whore of babylon. But it's edy to keep repeating it to people you know will take the bait. Very definition of... trying to take things to the edge. Given that all you're getting in return are similarly dull variations of "the Queen is bullshit".

Seems like it was the skill of the mediaeval stone masons which saved the interior.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 10:24 pmNo fan of Catholicism, but I’m very sad to see that place damaged. It’s a monument to human achievement and history.
The strength of the thin crypted ceiling kept out the burning roof timbers.
Of course, you could say that their hands were guided by God...
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Get it right, Masons, as in Master Masons, the same ones the church later tried to get rid off. The same ones that later became part of the foundation of our Founding Fathers in the US.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2019 2:36 amSeems like it was the skill of the mediaeval stone masons which saved the interior.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 10:24 pmNo fan of Catholicism, but I’m very sad to see that place damaged. Back then Master Masons were more than a description, it was also their jobs.
