I caught a commercial during the NCAA tournament for 60 minutes. They are going to have (or maybe had already) a bunch of the Florida HS students who are part of the "enough is enough" movement. One of them said "We are the mass shooting generation".

I find it sad that this group of students, and probably many others across the country are labeling themselves this way. While every shooting is tragic, it is still directly affects a very small minority of students across the country. Why try and burden an entire generation on something that the vast majority will never encounter?

The internet and immediate worldwide attention has made a lot of people trying to make everything into the cause of the century. Occupy Wall Street, BLM, now this. It's like they are trying so hard to come up with some historic meaning for their lives.
