Oh, I'm not too sure about that... as long as it wasn't gambling on the foot of a church, I think he wouldn't mind it.Fife wrote:

I'm pretty confident that Jesus wouldn't approve of a massive commercial campaign started by Jews in the 50s, to inspire a shopping boom at the beginning of winter, either. Or using pagan symbols all over the place, instead of Christian ones.
But that's just me.

Pfft, he wouldn't approve of "The Church" either, but what's your point?GrumpyCatFace wrote:I'm pretty confident that Jesus wouldn't approve of a massive commercial campaign started by Jews in the 50s, to inspire a shopping boom at the beginning of winter, either. We do agree on this. The Conservative wrote:Pfft, he wouldn't approve of "The Church" either, but what's your point?GrumpyCatFace wrote:I'm pretty confident that Jesus wouldn't approve of a massive commercial campaign started by Jews in the 50s, to inspire a shopping boom at the beginning of winter, either. Well, he doesn't want to raise taxes, doesn't want to allow illegals in, and wants to reign in immigration. They don't... so there isn't a deal as it stands. They need to bend... he's president, they aren't.Nukedog wrote:

That's not how America works. There's a reason that we don't call him "king".The Conservative wrote:Well, he doesn't want to raise taxes, doesn't want to allow illegals in, and wants to reign in immigration. Keith Olbernann certainly has first hand experience with being “finished”, but I remain skeptical of his predictive ability to spot the end for others.

I know that's true for many who voted for him; it's why my mother-in-law voted for him (she doesn't like him at all, just likes Hillary a lot less.)DBTrek wrote:The doofus is in power because we hate politicians.
You’d think the media would’ve picked up on that by now and stopped screaming “Trump is a doofus” at the top of their lungs every day.
We know.
He’s a boorish, thin skinned, egotistical, douchebag. That’s why America elected him ... because our only alternative was a lifelong politician.
It’s not that we don’t see how bad Trump is. It’s that the media and the political establishment don’t see how bad they are, and therefore can’t fathom that a raging man-child might be an improvement over four more years of the same shit.
It's the "Trump is amazing at everything he does," crowd that are annoying as hell.
