I love the Olympics, I will be watching as much as I can. NBC does a pretty good job overall their channels. Winter is more manageable, I love all the speed skating, bobsled, luge, downhill skiing, snowboard cross, basically anything that isn't judged. Even the Spengler hockey, but it is not the same.

Ice Hockey is the Winter Olympics, without the NHL players, I don't give a fuck. The Olympics are going to eat it for this ridiculous decision with no upside, ratings are going to be way down without the NHL stars there.

The NHL has done this before the owners are going to get greedy and lock the players out, again, and who will they run to for the PR? The Olympics! Players should have it written in their contracts that if they want to play maybe take a little discount on salary.

The NHL players make the Winter Olympics, fuck the IOC, pay the NHL. If they want way less eyeballs on the Olympics because they refuse, that's cutting off their nose to spite their face.
