What are the qualifications for president, in your opinion?
Nobody is waterboarding any longer as far as I know, so I don't know what you are upset about.
Because you're no longer required to know. Chicago PD does it when they have the whim.
Re: Qualifications for President.
Ideally - someone well versed in geopolitics and economics.
Reality - someone that gets attention with their face noises.
My position:
The candidate most likely to nudge us closer to a constitutional convention and an end to federalism.
See how that works?
I don't personally like Trump at all. If we were electing people by who I like most, I'd vote for Dwayne Johnson in a heartbeat. But if he doesn't seem like he will help blow up federalism once and for all, I wouldn't vote for him. I'd vote for the clown instead.
As far as qualifications at politics.. It's almost as if you'd select a lawyer to represent you who is most qualified at maximizing billing and dragging out legal cases for profit.
So you're hoping that by electing an incompetent boob, we've somehow started the collapse or taming of the federal government? How does that scenario even play out?
Why on earth wouldn't you expect it to simply lower the importance of the POTUS, as the rest of the government seals itself off from him, bypassing the wound?

Err, no, the person asking for evidence of a claim has no duty to explain why the claimant is wrong. I have no access to the application process they went through, so I cannot say.
Since you clearly have all this information at your disposal, you should share. Lack of a penis is not proof.
Account abandoned.

Yes.
Note how in the wake of his election the deep-blue states, especially California, have begun to disregard or opt-out of the federal system wherever it conflicts with their regional values. That was unthinkable until his election. Beforehand, when I pointed out that a Hillary victory would most likely lead to southern states slowly opting out of the federal system and ignoring it, I was met with accusations of wanting another civil war (which belied their intention to actually start one if they did win the election and we did ignore them just as they are now ignoring Trump's administration).

I just gave it to you Kath. This woman was totally unqualified for that position. Equifax could literally hire any available computer security expert in the world, and yet they chose her. They chose her for a reason, and Occam's Razer (parsimony) damned well points in one direction: diversity hire. Can you point to her resume and illustrate what made her more qualified than an
actual computer security expert?

So you've gotten a couple of states to mouth off against the Feds, and accomplished... more legal pot, which was already happening?
Meanwhile, the IC is in the process of going completely underground, we're blowing TRILLIONs of funny dollars, and the stock market is about to roll over in a way not seen since Weimar.
This is winning, huh?

Actually, Occam's Razor points to cost. I'd bet my life her salary was about half of a normal CSO for that size company.

From my perspective, yes.
The federal government has been a total shit show since 1789. It's time to disarm this fucking thing and let the various regions of America govern themselves according to their own cultural values. If California wants to confiscate all the guns and force everybody to participate in homosexual weddings, then that's on them. The only place I draw the line is when it affects the rest of us, like ignoring immigration laws, but even then, a confederal government can handle that just fine.

Well I can’t say that trump is moving anything in that direction, but we do have some lovelydebt levels now.

You mean you want to stop Crony Capitalism too? I say that first, we should go after the person who hired this unqualified woman and demand (under oath) why he/she hired her in the first place.

There it is again, like that isn't what I want.
