Instead of stopping his car and getting the police he basically drove his vehicle down a side street, towards the counter protesters, roughly a block away, and rammed into two parked cars. He ended up killing one person and injuring a number of other people. It was clearly deliberate what he did and his intent was to hurt people.
If he stopped his car, he could be dragged out, beaten, or even killed.
Your statement that he should go get the police is laughable given that the police withdrew so that the terrorists could move in and begin attacking people in the first place. The police and the terrorists work together. This has been on display on numerous occasions, starting with their riots in Berkeley.
Nor is it a new tactic. The democratic party did this shit all the way back in the civil rights era where, instead of antifa, their favored militant wing was the KKK.
Here is something interesting to consider- why drive down the block TOWARDS to the protesters? Clearly, he wanted to hurt them and this wasn't in any way in self-defense. In this case, the protesters were the ones who were trying to defend themselves when Fields rammed his car into the crowd (and also ramming not one BUT two parked cars). I mean the driver clearly fucked up his own car by ramming it with two parked cars just so he can hurt some people.
Because the police were funneling the demonstrators into the mob after they shut down their legal rally
