I just think we need to take a step back from all this and recognize that it's perfectly okay for us to have problems with the other sex or even other races in many contexts. There's nothing wrong with it.

That sounds a lot more reasonable than "WE ARE AT WAR WITH WOMEN!!! . . . and Muslims . . . and blacks . . . and Mexicans . . . and holy shit, our critics suddenly look like they're completely reasonable for labeling us a bunch of klansmen."

The "war against men" by women, minorities & weirdos, is a surrogate for the liberty vs. Collectivism battle. "Women's issues" are Collectivist issues.

We'd do well to remember that women, Mexicans, blacks, and others have been part of the founding fiber of this country and "our way of life" since day one, then. The opposition has made great strides in preaching a message of separation from the national narrative based on identity politics. "Oh, you're not part of 'America' cuz the white man enslaved your people!", or "You're not part of America cuz you couldn't vote till the 20th century", and so on. They win their converts and make their strides by turning these people against "America", and thereby making them outsiders who are opposed to the common narrative.

I'd suggest the best counter strategy is to remind these folks that they ARE part of America, and always have been. Remind them that an attack on American ideals and culture is, in fact, an attack against themselves and their ancestors.

The wrong strategy would be to hunker down and be like "Fuck you guys, we're at war with all of you!"

Sure, there will be a sizeable portion of citizens constantly attacking us, our institutions, our society, etc, all the time. But we'll beat them by stealing their numbers, not by playing into their narrative.

Guys like DB will always throw other men under the bus for female approval. That's not going to change until he makes contact with the family court system and has his children taken from him because of his sex. I just shrug it off at this point.

Guys like StA will marry strippers, lose their jobs, lose their kids and then blame women or any other handy scapegoat within arms reach. You just have to accept that people who consistently make bad decisions and are unable to accept any responsibility are generally bitter and prone to lashing out at others.
