Yeah, we should have elected Hillary, guys. At least then I would be lording over all my progressive slaves in the aftermath of nuclear holocaust.

Let's look at Trump's record so far and see what we can hate about him. Here is the Washington Posts rating of 61 Trump Campaign Promises. You can decide if you agree with the Washington Posts assessment.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics ... e-tracker/
Total Promises: 61
Kept: 6
Stuck: 2
Broken: 2
Launched: 12
Not yet Rated: 38
According to this, in 60 days on the job, Trump has accomplished 10% of his campaign promises; or roughly 1 campaign promise is accomplished every 10 days in office. At this rate by the Mid-Term Elections he will have addressed all his campaign promises.
My review of Trump thus far.
Pro's
He is generally doing what he said he would do
He is taking on the Establishment, not merely selling out completely
Everything indicates he will put America first over a Globalist cabal
He has opened up the Washington Press Corps to new voices
He did away with POTUS attending the Press Corps Ball
Outstanding Address to Congress, that's the tone we need out of Trump 98% of the time
He is working to get American Middle Class jobs back
Enforcing violations of our borders by illegal aliens
Con's
His Disruptive Marketing Techniques should seldom be used.
Too much travel on Tax Payer dime. Weak Excuses for doing, sounds like BHO when he does it
He's not declassifying enough documents, that's the way to drain the swamp. Show the American people what the Establishment has been up to.
Ryancare sucks, I don't like him supporting it.
Uncertain about
Military Spending
Increased troops in Syria
Strategy to defeat the Caliphate
Role of his family in the Administration- I didn't vote for Ivanka
Note on the Washington Post:
They rate his two failures as
1. Education affordability, based on his budget, I think that's a hasty judgement
2. His ban on Lobbyists- His ban on Lobbyists I would say is underway as well. He's probably done what he can do thus far with Exec Order.
Bottom Line is 60 days is too early to say these are failures.
I would welcome opposition debate to any of these points from the reasonable people marching around and telling us how awful he is for America.

Wait... we don't believe Nazis live in the hollow earth?Okeefenokee wrote:bullshit, every one of us has criticized him. the difference is that we have legitimate concerns with his actions or policies whereas you gals are a bunch of loons going on until the cows come home about the fucking russians. you seriously are acting no different than the crazies who talk about lizard people and nazis living in the center of the earth.Kath wrote:DSL, Nuke, Ky, Capps, Okee.... and others - this man can literally do nothing nor say anything wrong.
As for healthcare I maintain Trump backed Ryan's shitty bill because he knew it wouldn't get the votes. I'm hoping he puts together something better next time though. It's bound to be contentious and I doubt anyone will be happy with whatever is passed. I would rather just delete it but that won't happen and correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression the president can't revoke a piece of legislation that isn't an EO without a vote. Wasn't my largest issue though. Mine is immigration. He's not going far enough and fast enough for my taste but I'm being patient for now, hoping whatever reforms are enacted will be at least a step in the right direction.

Not my intention to insinuate you (ooky) were a bad parent at all. Just seemed strange that a 6 year old would be aware of and understand that concept. Anyway, if this is ooky, I hope you stick around. I remember a post where you and Kath convinced me that a "reasonable feminist" is a thing. Just like everything else, people towards the middle don't get coverage.adwinistrator wrote:Is this really your takeaway from ooky's post?Okeefenokee wrote:If you're making conclusions about the world based on the opinions and interests of school children, I challenge your conclusions to the taste test against the conclusions I've derived from reading the entrails of disemboweled rodents.
I forecast a positive future, with many a chicken little -the sky is falling- liberals droning on into irrelevancy about the dangers of Russia and literal Hitler.
Ooky: "My kid made a Trump joke about groping"
MHF: "I can't believe you told your child about that"
Ooky: "I didn't, she knew about it from other kids. They are paying attention at a young age, even had a mock election in school"
Okee: "I can't believe you base your politics on your child's mock-election!!!!"

I could possibly see a kid picking that up at school. I was thinking about this earlier as a matter of fact. Kind of sad that Trump's personal banter between guys was leaked and the media made such a big deal of it that kids probably think he literally grabs women in the puss. Inevitable I suppose but unfortunate.

After watching videos of that vile pussy march in Washington, it's quite clear to me that the degeneracy is being taught very early to young children by batshit crazy feminists.
It shouldn't surprise anybody that feminists are training their children to say stupid shit like this.

Re: Haven't been around for a while...
If Trump settles for a shitty health care bill, all of us here are going to take him to task for falling for the same trap that Obama did. Trump has a clear example to learn many of the pitfalls of attempting such an idiotic plan, yet he choose to focus on health care first which was Obama's big mistake, he should be focused on other issues.TheReal_ND wrote:As for healthcare I maintain Trump backed Ryan's shitty bill because he knew it wouldn't get the votes.
