I assume the Nobel Committee isn't giving now the Prize as a futures derivative, as they did with Obama.TheReal_ND wrote:Nobel Peace Prize when?

Another Marine general to the Trump team.
Trump's going to a have quite a military cabinet. Perhaps he thinks they are used to taking orders.
Likely the environmentalists will go crazy over the EPA pick.
President-elect Donald Trump has chosen retired Marine Gen. John F. Kelly to run the Department of Homeland Security

See Washington PostPresident-elect Donald Trump is expected to nominate Scott Pruitt, the attorney general of the oil and gas-intensive state of Oklahoma, to head the Environmental Protection Agency, a move signaling an assault on President Obama’s climate change and environmental legacy.
Pruitt has spent much of his energy as attorney general fighting the very agency he is being nominated to lead.

That's not a bad thing, as long as Trump listens to them.ssu wrote:Another Marine general to the Trump team.

And that's why I think that US commitment to NATO isn't going anywhere. The Conservative wrote:That's not a bad thing, as long as Trump listens to them.

Re: THE ERA OF TRUMP
There wasn't much reason to worry before those appointments. Trump was just making an outrageous statement to increase negotiate leverage, he was never going to withdraw from NATO or some other such nonsense, he was merely saber rattling, to get the freeloaders to ante up.ssu wrote:And that's why I think that US commitment to NATO isn't going anywhere. The Conservative wrote:That's not a bad thing, as long as Trump listens to them.

Careful with your trigger words there Grumpy, the Falklands war was referred to as a crisis.GrumpyCatFace wrote:Can't wait to see what new 'conflicts' spring up in the next 4 years.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

As a Putin Pal, Trump might allow him to take over half of Eastern Europe. Since you know, it's just part of his backyard.GrumpyCatFace wrote:Can't wait to see what new 'conflicts' spring up in the next 4 years.
