The Russians can rely on their elite troops, VDV, Morskaya Pekhota, and Spetsnaz, the rest of the Russian army is worthless, buncha conscripts who have absolutely zero interest in getting killed for the Kremlin, who would run away to live to fight another day, rather than get mauled by NATO attack helicopters and precision guided munitions.

Yeah, everbody is a tough guy, when beating up on Somali Pirates, but not so much, when facing Polish GROM and FORMOZA, fighting to defend Poland from a Russian agressor, the Poles would put the knife in, without quarter nor mercy, and it would get real ugly real fast, for the hapless Russian conscripts.

Do you think Putin bombed those apartment buildings himself to justify action in Chechnya? I have heard this floated around, but I don't know if its just a conspiracy theory.

Can't you at least let them have that? It was a pretty awesome fireball. One of my favorite liveleak videos in fact.

Definitely a plausible scenario, wouldn't put that past the KGB, in fact, would be surprised if that wasn't them.

Fake news my ass. You are making my point for me that NATO is shit. I will concede that I did not realize the disparity, but I'm pretty much the anti-John McCain when it comes to NATO.

I've seen the Poles in action, I would not fuck with the Poles if I were the Russians, the Poles are going a little cray-cray these days, they've blown right by the SAS, more like the Waffen-SS now. In Poland, the Special Forces, are training high school kids, to be junior Commandos, the whole country is going to a war footing.

Pound for pound, who has the best military in Europe right now?

Do they think Russia is going to invade them? What are they gearing up for?

Poland, hands down, they are the best combination of equipped to fight, and ready to fight, other countries are equipped, but they're not psyched up for it like the Poles are, not even close. The Poles are actually flirting with militarized fascism at this point, they've past "defense" and have now moved into the "scary" zone.

It's the Russians who are spooked by the Poles, not the other way round, the Poles have been bulding up so fast and so hard, it's the Russians who are convinced that Poland is building up to take Kaliningrad, under the cover of the NATO nuclear deterent.

You look at the Russian ZAPAD exercise coming up, the scenario is basically a war with Poland, with "terrorists" attacking the Russians in their rear.
