Why does the tax plan suck? No one making that claim in this thread has yet to put forward a good argument as to why that's the case.

Two separate Washington Post columnists have come to the aid of embattled Senator Al Franken, offering arguments in favor of keeping him in the Senate rather than kicking him out and establishing a precedent whereby other “right-voting” Democrats could be ensnared.

Kate Harding, “Feminasty” podcast co-host and co-editor of “Nasty Women: Feminism, Resistance, and Revolution in Trump’s America,” wrote an eye-popping op-ed calling for Franken, D-Minn., to stay in office despite multiple accusations of sexual assault./quote]
Washington Post deputy editorial page editor Ruth Marcus echoed Harding’s sentiments in her own editorial, insisting that “ignoring sexual abuse and assault is far worse than punishing its perpetrators too severely.” Marcus puts Franken on the opposite end of impropriety from “predatory” behavior coming from Roy Moore and even Bill Clinton to more along the lines of “boorish.”

Roy Moore’s wife calls for McConnell to resign: ‘People are tired of Washington not doing its job’

Kayla Moore is sticking by her man.

During a Friday interview on One America News Network with Trey Yingst, the wife of embattled Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore declined to specifically address the allegations against her husband, yet insisted he “always tells the truth.”

When asked about the specific allegations of sexual misconduct or inappropriate behavior towards multiple women in their teens who have come forward with decades-old claims, Moore said, “They’re allegations and I don’t want to talk about allegations.”
She also had strong words for Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., who has called for her husband to step down.

That he [McConnell] needs to step down,” said Moore. “Because he is not a leader and he’s not doing his job. And the people are tired of Washington not doing their job and not representing the people of Alabama and playing a game.”

The one poll I've seen was complete shit. The sampling was ridiculously skewed just like they did with Trump. If you're interested I can try to find it again.

He's getting elected now that the accusation turned out to be another rape hoax.

It's funny how the media doesn't even want to cover the fact that the yearbook signature was pretty well shown to be a forgery taken from this woman's divorce paperwork.

The MSM not even admitting they were pumping up yet another rape hoax is going to further isolate them from the American people. Who fucking believes these people anymore? You'd have to be such an asshole to take the word of CNN ever again.

Because it's a wealth transfer designed to change the balance of political power in the country.

I posted a while back on this that over zealous witch hunts can destroy actual factual claims. That may be the case with this one.

Talking points don't cut it.

The deductions being eliminated are aimed squarely at blue states. I can go into the specific deductions if you'd like, but the biggest impact is really the combination of the elimination/capping of the property tax deduction, and the elimination of the state income tax and sales tax deductions. (This isn't even taking into account the millions of people who will lose healthcare and those unable to deduct huge medical expenses.
