so I'm actually very comfortable with my own company, quite happy to be by myself

He talks his nonsense, he does his thing, whatever.
Maybe it's because I was raised in a family of Montes (minus the Green Beret dad) - so I'm just used to the constant gaslighting, random accusations, complaining, goal-post shifting, excuse making, etc, etc.
I mean, it's tiresome, but when it's all you've known since taking your first baby steps it's not all that infuriating.
Just sad.
And irritating.

But he talks on other topics too, and when they aren't politically charged we all get along.
So - I can't say he's ever ruined one of my days.

No - y'all are the normal, healthy, well adjusted ones. I found out after joining the army and getting out of the house that the way people interacted back home wasn't "normal". But - it is apparently successful, because it's taking over every institution and business like wildfire these days.
