A ticket in the Dawg Pound goes for the same as movie ticket.
Granted it's the Browns, but still. I don't think prices have been this low since the 80s strike.

It's ridiculous. I wonder if the owners are starting to get nervous?
I would think they would have to be. The longer this goes on, fans may just change their habits and entertainment. I know there is a fairly large piece of former fans that just won't come back.

No, that might actually be a life preserver for ESPN. They could double down on all that anti-football coverage they were putting out there about a year ago with respect to high school sports, but scale it up. Go anti-NFL.

Agreed - I think the damage is done....not sure if it will be able to come back...unlike the NHL strike - the fans are leaving because they hate the culture of the game....it's not some in-house contracting fighting bull shit...but seriously though, wasn't this bound to happen? Players and fans come from two different cultures...

If by ‘culture’, you mean moronic presentation, idiotic rule changes, and shipping teams around the country, destroying even the illusion of fan allegiance, then yesZlaxer wrote:.C-Mag wrote:Zlaxer wrote:

No - that's not what I mean, and you know that's not what I mean, and you know that others know that you know that not's what I mean....
What you're talking about has been occurring in major league sports for decades....That is not why the NFL can't fill seats.....
We all know what's going on - it's so fucking obvious...

I know that you know that I know that that’s not what you mean. I disagree on the cause.Zlaxer wrote:GrumpyCatFace wrote:If by ‘culture’, you mean moronic presentation, idiotic rule changes, and shipping teams around the country, destroying even the illusion of fan allegiance, then yesZlaxer wrote: .

SIFCLF-R vs SIFCLF-D maybe. But I refuse to believe that millions of people are dropping a faded shell of a sport over some bullshit like kneeling. If anything, it’s a worthy distraction from the dumpster fire that Goodell has created.

It's not just the kneeling.....its the whole fucking brand....it sucks....no class, no sportsmenship....funny....but it turns out people actually care about those terms....GrumpyCatFace wrote:I know that you know that I know that that’s not what you mean. IMHO - kneeling was just the last straw....

Here's the thing - it's not that fans are turned off by "black" players...just look at Soccer...people fucking worship Pele....In hockey, PK Subban is one of the most feared and respected players.....it's not about skin color...it's purely about culture...most Americans do not like inner city ghetto culture....which is what the NFL has embarrassed.....

The NFL needs more black playes like Vince...
http://www.vincewilfork75.com/
They need to also stop hiring fucking actual criminals....
If the NFL had done so.....then the kneeling thing would not have killed it....
Also, the over-the-top arrogant as fuck announcers and commentators doesn't help much either...
