Obama's "Net Neutrality" did nothing to address monopolies, you keep acting like it does, but it didn't, you're the one with your fingers in your ears. Your Net Neutrality law has nothing to do with trust busting, stop falling for Democrat talking points.Speaker to Animals wrote:You keep plugging your ears, genius. Broadband in America, in most places, is a monopoly just like the power utility. The only reason Comcast got away with throttling my Netflix to be unusable was that I had no choice in service. It was Comcast broadband or not broadband.

LMFAO. Of course it did. It forbade a specific monopolistic practice.

If there was competition, do you think I would have continued to pay for Comcast broadband when they decided to render my Netflix subscription useless?

Re: Net Neutrality
There was no competition before Obama's Net Neutrality, there isn't after it became the law of the land, and there isn't now that Trump is killing the stupid thing. Obama's Net Neutrality did not address the issue, whatsoever, he just pretended it did, to sell it to the rubes in the American public, and it worked. It's still working on rubes like you, sad.Speaker to Animals wrote:StCapps wrote:No, it did not. Do your research closet Demohack.Speaker to Animals wrote:LMFAO. Of course it did. Re: Net Neutrality
Fake Net Neutrality is merely an obvious FCC power grab, even though StA cannot see it.
He's easily fooled by Orwellian Doublespeak I suppose, call it Net Neutrality, and he just assumes it's the real deal, and not an obvious imposter using a good idea to sell a bad one.
Real Net Neutrality would be a good idea, Obama didn't sign such legislation into law though, quit fronting like he did.

So you think competition is going to magically appear when Comcast starts throttling people's Netflix accounts again? That's cute. When we tried to do that last time, they actually bribed state legislators to make it illegal, so I don't know why you think this time will be different.

What I can see are a lot of dummies defending the idea that it is perfectly okay (and a good thing) for monopolies to use their monopolistic powers to fuck with the free market by creating barriers to entry. You literally defended it. Don't try to obfuscate this. This is what you defend.

Re: Net Neutrality
No, that isn't what I am defending. I just don't pretend that Obama's Fake Net Neutrality is something that it isn't, you on the other hand refuse to not pretend. To you, if you don't think Obama's Fake Net Neutrality is the real mccoy, then somehow you're defending monopolies. You're defending an FCC power grab, just because Obama called it "Net Neutrality". Stop pointing fingers and look in the mirror.
